The 5 tiers of AI accessibility
Level 1 (reachable) is the only real door: if an AI bot can't reach your site, nothing else counts. Above it, your level is the highest tier reached, and every missing tier below it is flagged as a gap to fill.

An AI bot can reach your site: no firewall blocking it, no robots.txt shutting the door. The one condition without which nothing else counts.
AI policy declared
You tell AI bots explicitly what they're allowed to do with your content, and you let them in.
Agent-readable
llms.txt, content served as markdown: LLMs read you without effort.
Connected
Your APIs and your authentication are discoverable by machines.
Agentic
MCP, A2A, agentic commerce: an agent can act and buy from you.
